Port Blair, Oct 25: On 10/06/19, a complaint was reported at PS Aberdeen regarding missing of a lady alongwith her minor child. Instantly, a case was registered under relevant section of law at PS Aberdeen.
After registration of the case, Police started searching into all aspects for tracing the missing lady and minor child. After extensive search and door to door enquiries, police could finally ascertain that the location of the missing lady is at Chennai. Thereafter, a team comprising SI Regan Issac, PCs P. Krishna Rao & Rup Kr. Roy were deployed to Chennai for investigation and search of the missing lady. During investigation, on 25/10/19, the team succeeded to locate the missing lady with her minor child from Thirusulam, Chennai. During enquiry, the missing lady confessed that she went to Chennai along with her minor child willingly due to her family issues.
The South Andaman District Police has once again shown their social responsibilities towards society for tracing the missing lady alongwith her minor child through all possible means. The search operation conducted under the overall direction & supervision of Shri. Manoj C, IPS, Superintendent of Police, South Andaman District.
