Port Blair, Oct 04: On 2nd October, 2019, the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, Port Blair organized Mega Cleanliness Drive at North Wandoor Beach, South Andaman from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon. The Function was attended by Pradhan, Wandoor Gram Panchayat Shri Ram Bala.
In his inaugural speech Shri Bala said that its an honour to host the follower of Sant Nirankari Mission at our Gram Panchayat and to take up the Cleanliness Drive of Wandoor Beach. He also highlighted the importance of Swatchh Bharat Abhiyaan of Prime Minister of India.
Speaking on the occasion, the Sector In-charge of Sant Nirankari Mandal, Andaman & Nicobar Islands Shri Satya Narayan Ji said that today all over in India the SNCF taken up SWACHHTA ABHIYAAN in 365 Railway Stations to be clean. Inspite of Railway Station mission also taken up Public Parks, Hospitals, Public places, beaches are to be also clean in which nearly 1.5 lakhs of SNCF Volunteers and Sewadal to be involved in this mission.
The volunteers were collected more than 50 Nos of garbage bag which contained Glass Bottles, Plastic bottles, Plates and other garbage and the same was handed over to the official of Gram Panchayat for proper damping. The Pradhan, Gram Panchayat provided vehicle for collecting garbage. The program was concluded with Satsang and Guru ka langer.
