Port Blair, Sept 24: To celebrate the 550th Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Field Outreach Bureau (FOB), Port Blair will organise a Quiz Competition on the life and philosophy of Guru Nanak Dev Ji on the 12th of October, 2019 for the students of Class VIII to XII of the Islands. The venue of the Quiz Competition will be Khalsa Public Senior Secondary School, Port Blair. Similarly, a Group Song/Kirtan Competition based on the theme of teachings and shabds of Guru Nanak Dev Ji will be organised for the students of Class VIII to XII of the Islands on the 19th of October. The venue of the Group Song Competition will be informed later. Interested students and schools may send their names via email to pibportblair@gmail.com or directly to the Principal, Khalsa Public Senior Secondary School. Last date to send entries/names for Quiz Competition is 10th of October, 2019 and 15th October, 2019 for Group Song/Kirtan competition. Winners of the competitions will be suitably awarded.
