Port Blair, Sept 19:In two different incidents on 17 September Jarawa Tribes reportedly Stole various commodities from two Cargo Trucks worth nearly Rs. 80,000.
According to reports in first incident some Jarawa Tribes reportedly stopped a cargo truck forcefully showing arrows and later they asked for a ride. While the truck was on the move, the Jarawa Tribes reportedly cut some portion of tarpaulin of the truck and brought out some commodities, worth Rs. 40,000 from the truck and threw the same in jungles, to be collected later.
In similar manner some more commodities, worth Rs.40,000 were reportedly stolen from another truck, which was stopped by AAJVS staffs. It has been learnt that complaints regarding these two issues were already lodged in nearby Police Outposts. Further details are awaited.
