Port Blair, Sept 05: Ms. Anita Bairagi 53 years, a residents of Shantanu Nagar, Kadamtala was today attacked by a crocodile while she was fishing near a creek. The crocodile which was hiding in shallow waters reportedly attacked her and grabbed her leg. Luckily another lady of the village, Ms. Gulabi, neighbour of Mr. Anita, was fishing nearby. With the help of Ms. Gulabi, Ms. Anita managed to free herself from the jaws of the Crocodile. But Ms. Anita Bairagi sustained serious injuries in her leg and she was later shifted to Hospital, where she was admitted for treatment.
