Port Blair, Sept 05: A 11 year old boy was found by CID team of Port Blair roaming in city in a suspicious manner. The boy was later brought to Police Station Aberdeen yesterday. According to reports on investigation the boy, who can speak only Telugu, said that his parents are living separately and his parents have left him. According to his statement he was brought to Port Blair by some uncle, who also left him at the Port Blair port. As per the child he was a resident of Vizag, Gajuwaka.
As per reports, later the matter has been handed over to the District Child Protection Unit of South Andaman and Prayas, an NGO. Further investigations are being made.
