Port Blair, August 20: The renowned poetess and writer of Andaman & Nicobar Island Mrs D.M .Savitri has recently been honoured with “ HINDI BHASHA BHUSHAN KI SARVOCH MANDH UPADHI “ by SREE NATH DWAR , RAJASTHAN. Apart from this, she has also been bestowed with another Award “ MAHA DEVI VARMA SMRITY RASHTRIYA KAVYA ALANKAR” by Sahitya sanathan in collaboration with Basha Adbyan Shala , Jivaji University, Gwalior, for her literary works. On this occasion, her upanayar ( Navel)” LACHO” was also released. She laurels to these Island by her contribution in the field of literature and recognition in other parts of India too. It is a moment of proved for these Island, that Mrs D.M.SAVITRI, an accomplished poetess and writer have acquired a glorious position by her ability and potential.
