Port Blair, August 13: Mr Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, ANI and President, Pradesh Congress Committee and all senior leaders have deeply mourned the sad demise of Late Lakshman Singh, aged 89 years, retired Deputy Commissioner, r/o Aberdeen Bazaar, who left for heavenly abode on the 13th August, 2019 and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family members.
Mr Sharma has expressed that the contribution of Late Lakshman Singh towards the developments of the Islands is significant and he has served the Islands in the most severe condition when these Islands were in its budding stage of evolution.
“The Islanders shall always remain indebted to him for his sincerity, devotion, knowledge and contribution,” Mr. Sharma said.
They have also mourned the death of late R Anand Krishna, retired Head Master of Education department who left for heavenly abode on 11th August 2019 and prayed for his eternal peace and strength to his family members.
