Port Blair, Aug 09: As part of Independence day celebrations, Kala Kendra–A & N Islands Society for Promotion of Art & Culture under Department of Art & Culture, A & N Administration is organizing an immersive collaborative cultural programmes with Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre, Kolkata from 12th to 18th August 2019, to embark on a patriotic extravaganza and revive the past rich cultural identity. A Workshop with performance on Patriotic Songs will be organized at Diglipur on 12th August 2019, which will be conducted by artists of National and International repute.
The second performance of Patriotic Songs will be organized on 14th August 2019 at “Flag Point”, South Point from 5.30 pm onwards. In addition to this, Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre will be presenting a Classical Dance & Musical Evening by classical artists of Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre, Kolkata on 15th August 2019 at Diglipur and on 17th August 2019 at Port Blair. The programme will culminate with an “Art Professional Camp” by artists from Kolkata and Port Blair from 16th to18th August 2019 at Port Blair.
All are invited to attend, enjoy and appreciate the rich inheritance through the plethora of events.
