Port Blair, August 7: Mr. Vishal Jolly, the State President, BJP, A & N Islands, met the Chief Secretary, A & N Islands on August 7, 2019, at A&N Secretariat, regarding permit extension to local quarry operators, allot place to local handicraft manufacturers at Govt. Sagorika Emporium to promote the local handicraft products and reappointing DRMs in Dept. of Electricity and other departments.
The Chief Secretary reportedly assured the BJP President that positive steps will be taken. Mr Vishal Jolly also met the Education Secretary and discussed the problem faced by the students on getting admission at Community College, Ferrargunj. The Education Secretary replied that the matter shall be considered.
