Port Blair, July 28: The Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad, A&N Islands today claimed that the Pondicherry University has temporarily withdrawn the affiliation of Dr BR Ambedkar Institute of Technology (DBRAIT).
Talking to Andaman Sheekha Mr. Omkar Parida, the National Executive council member of ABVP today claimed that ABVP has specific inputs regarding this information however even after several attempts, over phone and SMS, Andaman Sheekha was unable to contact the Principal of DBRAIT for a comment in this regard.
Mr. Omkar Parida told Andaman Sheekha that ABVP delegation tried to meet the CS and LG recently in this regard but they were not able to meet for various reasons but again on Monday the ABVP delegation will make another attempt to meet the Lt. Governor in this issue and submit a letter.
According to ABVP the affiliation has been withdrawn by the Pondicherry Central University due to non compliance of the affiliating University’s direction, observation and continuous warning to the A&N Administration and to the principal, DBRAIT. Further details are awaited.
