Port Blair, June 11: Two life guards posted at Corbyn’s Cove today saved one person from drowning at Corbyn’s Cove beach. As per report the person who was rescued, was actually under heavy influence of liquor, because of which he was losing conscious while swimming in sea.
Sources said that the life guards, Mr. CP Zainul Abid and Mr. Ashok Kumar Nath, rescued the person, who was under influence of alcohol and shifted him to G B Pant Hospital.
