Port Blair, June 09: Residents of various areas of Port Blair city have been complaining that from some areas often PBMC employees clean garbage very late in forenoon hours.
When PBMC is planning to earn “Smart city” tag for Andamans, such kind of negligence is leaving Port Blairians deeply disappointed. Andaman Islands are also projected as prominent tourism destination and such garbage heaps in city, become eyesore for tourists.
The PBMC must develop some kind of feedback system, where Port Blairians can call or message and lodge complaint in this regard. Such system will not only keep sanitation workers on the toe but also ensure that the Port Blair city is clean.
