Port Blair, May 17: On the auspicious occasion of 51st anniversary of Lord Sree Venkateshwara Temple, a Mahakalyana Bhramoutsavam of Lord Balaji and Devi Padmavathi. All together 108 wedded couples took part in this ceremony, more than 5000 devotees came to witness the worshipping ceremony. Annaprasadam was also served to all the devotees. A procession of Lord Sree Venkateswara and Devi Padmavathi started from Temple to Delanipur and back to temple. This Kalyana Mahotsavam was one of the grand programmes of this temple. The President of the temple Committee Mr. Tejeshwar Rao wholeheartedly thanked all donors, ward no–2 Councillor Mr. R.Someshwar Rao for his unconditional support, volunteers, electricity department, police personnel, sanitary staffs and appreciated his whole committee for making this ceremony successful.
