Rangat, May 02: In a major accident that took place at Karmatang village of Middle Andaman, a person was hit by a water tanker today.
Sources said that the person, Mr. December, who is working as peon in GSS Karmatang was going somewhere and when he reached near Karmatang Church, he was hit by the water tanker. As per public, bad roads might be the reason behind this accident. However, a case has been registered against the driver.
Mr. December reportedly sustained serious injuries in his jaw and head because of which he was referred to G B Pant Hospital, Port Blair.
This is the second major accident in this month in mayabunder. Road conditions is not only the reason its totally because of rash driving of zeep drivers, petrol and water tanker drivers. They never give space to bikers. No proper action on this. Please highlight this issue seriously because of this shameless drivers many lives are in danger.
