Port Blair, Apr 18: The Sealink Cricket League began today at Port Blair, which is the first cricket tournament to introduce Electronic Score Board, Led Stump in ICC format in Andaman.
Altogether, 25 teams are participating in this tournament and is being organized at the ground inside Velodrome of Netaji Stadium Complex.
Today was the first day of the match which was played between Coast Guard team and Sahi team. Mr. Faiz Asif, owner of Sealink told Andaman Sheekha that night cricket is being organized in Andaman for the first time in a very innovative way. He said the main motive behind organizing such tournament is to motivate youths towards sports and constructive things.
This tournament is organized in association of Andaman & Nicobar Cricket Association.
