Port Blair, Mar 29: The double murder case of Port Blair city which was reported yesterday left every Islander deeply upset and anger is brewing among many against the accused youths.
The anger among public could be seen at GB Pant Hospital when a Police team brought both the accused Shubhankar Ghosh and Debashish Roy to GB Pant Hospital for medical check-up this afternoon.
As per report angry people, which include relatives of the murdered girls, friends and general public, gheraoed the G B Pant hospital and demanded handing over of the accused youths to the public for ‘Mob Justice’.
The police team found it very difficult to control the mob and hence they had to lock both the accused in a safe room for their protection.
With great difficulty the Andaman and Nicobar Police controlled the public and finally took the accused youths back to police station from another route.
