Port Blair, Mar 24: The General Secretary of Telegu Desam Party (TDP) Mr. Aziz-Ur- Rahman and the Mrs. Protima Banerjee, TDP member and sitting SVC of PBMC have resigned from TDP yesterday. The announcement was made during a gathering of youths and supporters at Sun Sea Resort yesterday evening.
Both Mr. Aziz-Ur- Rahman and Mrs. Protima Banerjee are all set to join BJP tomorrow at around 10.00 AM.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha Mr. Mr. Aziz-Ur- Rahman said that the decision was made after consulting with all his supporters. “We were working hard but we were not getting any support from the party and hence we decided to resign from TDP so that we can work for public in more prominent way,” he added.
