Mayabunder, Feb 27: The Ex-Pramukh of Mayabunder region, Mr. Abdul Siddique has demanding twice a week sailing of MV Coral Queen for Mayabunder. Talking to Andaman Sheekha Mr. Abdul Siddique said that on 21 February 2019 there was a huge protest by public infront of DC office of Mayabunder in which sailing of MV Coral Queen for Mayabunder was a prominent demand.
According to Mr. Abdul Siddique after the protest the Administration sailed M V Coral Queen for Mayabunder region but the service was withdrawn only after two sailings on 23rd February and 26 February, for reasons unknown.
Mr. Abdul Siddique requested Administration to provide the Service of M.V.Coral Queen to Mayabunder on every Tuesday and Saturday for the benefit of the people of Mayabunder, especially for the patients, who are referred from Mayabunder to Port Blair.
