Port Blair, Jan 28: Kala Kendra – a society under Department of Art & Culture has organized a programme titled ‘UTSAV’- a programme of Dance and Music at Uttara & Shantanu, Middle Andaman on 27th January 2019 under the aegis of Netaji Club Uttara and Shantanu.
Dr. Shiny Varghese, Medical Officer, PHC Kadamtala inaugurated the programme as chief guest by lightning the traditional lamp at the venue in presence Smt. Saraswati Bawali, Panchayat Pradhan as the guest of honour besides Mr. Prakash, Zilla Parishad Member and Mr. Jotirmay Bawali, President Netaji Mela Committee.
The Dream World Entertainers, a Cultural Organization from Port Blair presented patriotic songs and other folk songs.
Balakrishna Nritya Academy, Port Blair presented varieties of folk dances and a Nukkad Natak based on Swatccha Bharat Abhiyan.
Around 2000 people witnessed the programme which was appreciated by one and all.
