Port Blair, Jan 25: JUO Dhananjay Roy & CHM M Kartik of 1 (A&N) INDEP INF COY, NCC are participating in the prestigious Republic Day (RD) Parade on Rajpath, in New Delhi on 26 Jan 2019.These two cadets have been trained by the highly motivated Instructors of the unit. The cadets have been put through a rigorous training schedule. Having qualified to be part of the RD parade contingents of NCC through a four stage selection process, they have bought laurels to the islands and their parents & college.
During the RD camp these cadets will be interacting with the President Ram Nath Kovind & PM Narendra Modi and various other dignitaries.
JUO Dhananjay Roy is son of Mr. Bimal Roy & Mrs. Geeta Roy and a student of ANCOL, pursuing BBA 2nd year.
CHM M Kartik is son of Mr. C Murgeshan & Mrs. M Jyoti and is a student of JNRM College pursuing BA final year.
The cadets have been selected based on their dedication, capability & performance by the Commanding Officer ,Lt Col Anshuman Saxena, Sub Anil Kumar, CHM Pradip Kumar and Maj Jayakumar (Principal ANCOL) and Mr. C Parthiban, C/T JNRM.
