Port Blair, Jan 22: A youth was rushed to Garacharma hospital with critical injuries after he was hit by a motorbike while crossing the road near Sarvotam Hotel, Sippighat at around 6:55 PM yesterday (21/01/2019).
The 25-year-old youth namely Shiv Shankar S/o Shiv Moorty R/o Chouldari, a private truck driver was crossing road when he was hit by a motorcycle travelling towards Garacharma. As reported the biker was at high speed and couldn’t control the bike.
Victim was later referred to GB Pant Hospital and now is in ICU. A case has been registered against the bike rider in Pahargoan PS, further details are awaited.
