Port Blair, Jan 18: Upon persisting demand of Para Veterinary staff of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services Department for revision/up-gradation of pay scales/Grade Pay, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, M.P along with Mr. Ram Pyare Yadav, President and Mr. G. Babu, General Secretary of A &N Para Veterinary Sang, Port Blair has persuaded the proposal of the Administration with the concerned Ministry from time to time and finally the demand has been settled down by the Ministry of Agriculture being the Nodal Ministry of the Veterinary Department of A & N Administration. The Nodal Ministry after having concurrence of the Finance Ministry vide order dated 16.01.2019 has conveyed the approval for revision/up-gradation of pay scales/Grade Pay of the Para Veterinary Compounders and other promotional posts. With this order of the Ministry, total 281 Numbers employees which includes Veterinary Compounder, Sr. Veterinary Compounder and Live Stock Supervisor will be benefited with revised pay Scales/up-graded Grade Pay in compliance with 7th C.P.C.
