Port Blair, Jan 09: A 26 year old man namely Mr. Tufan Sheik, son of Mr. Saidul Sheik, a resident of Corbyn’s Cove area of Port Blair city, died of electrocution today at around 3:00PM.
As per reports, the 26 year old youth was doing electrical works inside the new campus of Medical College near Corbyn’s Cover area. Sources said he was working on the first floor and because of electrocution he fell from first floor and died on the spot.
The man was immediately rushed to the nearby GB Pant hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
Late Tufan Sheik, originally hails from West Bengal and was working here as private labourer.
