Port Blair, Dec 21: The Chairperson Port Blair Municipal Council Smt. Anusia Devi today visited various Community Halls situated in several places in the municipal area. Mr. R.Someshwara Rao, Chairperson (E&SJ), Mr. N.K.Udhaya Kumar, Chairperson (WTP&I), Mr. B.Eswar Rao, Councillor, Officers and Officials of the Council were also present with the Chairperson, PBMC. After inspection of the Community Halls, the Civic Chief issued necessary instruction to the officers to complete the repair/ renovation works of the Community Halls in a time bound manner so that the populace of the respective areas can avail the facilities. She also directed to provide the required items like, bed sheets, pillow covers, curtains, utensils etc. to the Ratri Niwas situated at Haddo, as communicated in a press note by Anusia Devi, Chairperson.
