Port Blair, Dec 13: Three workers of a private Noni Juice Company, became unconscious when they went inside the fermentation tank for routine work of checking.
According to reports, at the beginning one worker collapsed inside the tank and during rescue two other workers also became unconscious, inside the tank. The matter was immediately informed to police and with the help of police, other workers brought all three unconscious people out of the tank and shifted them to PHC Tushnabad.
Soon all these three workers, Mr. Sushil Kujur, Mr. Sanjay Kujur, Mr. Salimani were referred to G B Pant Hospital where two of the workers were admitted in ICU for observation whereas the third person has been admitted in General Ward.
Sources told Andaman Sheekha that due some gas formation and strong smell of Noni Juice the workers became unconscious. As per reports a case has been registered against the manager of Noni Juice factory.
