Port Bair, Dec 10: Indian Coast Guard in coordination with Ayush Ayurvedic Hospital conducted a Ayurvedic medical camp on 08 Dec 18 at Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association Centre with special focus on “Healthy living through Ayurveda”. Mrs. Mohita Pathak, President Tatrakshika (A&N) inaugurated the event in the presence of Inspector General MV Pathak, Commander Coast Guard Region A&N and Dr. kalyan, Dy Director of Ayush hospital.
The services of two specialist doctors from Ayush Ayurvedic Hospital and one doctor from Coast Guard were availed during the Medical camp. Hundred plus personnel from Coast Guard including civilian employees utilised the facility of free medication along with medicines at camp.
An interactive session through presentation was also provided to all participants to spread awareness about “Health issues”, “Ayurvedic remedy” and “cleanliness in healthy life”.
