Port Blair, Nov 13: Fight between two bulls, right at the middle of Rangat Bazaar road today left atleast three vehicles damaged. According to reports one out of the three vehicles, suffered severe damages when the beasts rammed into the car from one side. The fight between two stray cattle also caused traffic jam at Rangat Bazaar around 10.00 AM.
One can say that this is a minor incident but people who suffered the loss due to these freely roaming stray cattle of Rangat Bazaar now question that who will pay for their loss, the Panchayat or Zilla Parishad.
Eye witnesses told Andaman Sheekha that such wild encounters could also prove fatal for children on road and hence the Panchayat must take this issue very seriously.
The menace of stray cattle, which is very prominent in Port Blair city, has now started haunting people of remote Islands also due to lethargic approach of civic bodies.
