Port Blair, Nov 12: The Chairperson, PBMC Mrs. Anusia Devi alongwith Mr. Vishal Jolly, Member HMAC met the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration on 10th November,2018 and discussed at length about various issues.
The focus was on the developmental activities within Port Blair Municipal area specially the Water Supply, Road and Urban Development Sectors and inadequate funds to carry forward these works.
The Chief Secretary had given a patient hearing and assured that required funds will be made available so that the works are afoot on ground by 1st December, 2018. The Chairperson conveyed gratitude to Chief Secretary for addressing the core issues of PBMC, a communication form the office of the Chairperson stated.
