Port Blair, Nov 12: A valedictory programme of the yearlong golden jubilee celebration of JNRM, the first college of A&N Islands concluded with a colourful programme organised in the college auditorium on 9th November 2018.Speaking on the occasion the Chief guest Mr. D Manikandan, IAS, Secretary (Education), Andaman and Nicobar Administration congratulated the Principal and the entire JNRM family for organising various programmes and activities during the year. He said the golden jubilee celebration is a great feeling and an accomplishment of great success and reflects the contribution of JNRM in the development of these islands.
He distributed awards and prizes to the winners of the competitions. The students of various departments presented colourful cultural programmes on the occasion. Earlier in his welcome address Dr.N.Francis Xavier, Principal JNRM, presented a report on the yearlong celebrations and highlighted the achievements of JNRM
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by the senior faculty Smti. Pearl Devdas, HOD, Department of Geography.
