Port Blair, Nov 06: Keeping a sharp vigil over anti-social activities and after getting credible information on 04/11/18 the Police team of PS Diglipur comprising of Insp. Mahesh Yadav SHO PS Diglipur, SI Jishi George, HC Rashik Lal Mondal, and PC’s Vishnu Kr. Reddy, G. Dilli Rao, Akash Ch. Bepari, & Kehav Mondal headed by Mr. Sukant S. Ballab, SDPO Diglipur raided the house of one person namely Naresh Debnath @ Bablu R/o Madhupur Ward No. 05 and recovered 600 grams of Ganja from his possession and arrested the accused person under NDPS Act 1985. During interrogation accused person disclosed that he used to sale illicit Ganja to teenagers and other habitual local person. The entire operation was supervised by Mr. Ingit Pratap Singh, IPS SP North & Middle Andaman District. The District Police is committed to completely eradicate drug trafficking from this district as it create ill effect over society.
