Port Blair, Nov 06: Two people have been arrested by Andaman and Nicobar Police from Cellular Jail area for flying drone, without valid permission.
According to sources among the arrested people, one youth is from Ograbraj area while the other youth is visiting Andaman as tourist from Kerala. Later both were released on bail, it is learnt.
This is not the first time when people have been arrested for flying drones in Andaman, earlier even some tourists were arrested by police.
Besides arrests, the Andaman and Nicobar Police must also issue regular advisories in local media for the awareness of people regarding the issue of flying drones. As drones are freely available online often people buy and fly drones for fun, but later they face FIR.
