Port Blair, Oct 31: Islanders paid homage to Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar today on the occasion of 111th birth anniversary and 56th death anniversary of freedom fighter. They garlanded the statue of Muthuramalinga Thevar at Dollygunj Junction.
10:30am Rally was also organised from Murugan Temple. The rally later finished at Dollygunj at around 11.30 am and on the way the people in the rally garlanded the statue of Netaji Subhash Chander Bose. The programme ended with Annadanam. More then 300 people participated in the rally with 50 bikes and 15 cars.
