Diglipur, July 23: The A & N State Coop. Bank has financed Ektha SHG to the tune of 1.5 lakhs for setting up a garment making unit at Diglipur. The garment unit was inaugurated by Mr. T.Subramanian, Assistant General Manager, ANSCB, Diglipur on 23rd July, 2012 at 11.30 am in the presence of representatives of ACANI, SHG members and local residents of the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. T.Subramanian has emphasized upon the formation of SHGs and described various benefits of SHG-Credit linkages.
During the course of the function, he also emphasised that the unit can provide employment to the SHG members and can generate employment to the local villagers in the forthcoming days.
