Baratang, Oct 26: In a shocking incident, a 21 year old mother of Jarawa Creek area of Baratang today committed suicide after killing her nine month old infant daughter. As per detail the mother first hanged her daughter and then self.
The incident left entire Baratang region stunned as the girl, from Adazig village of Baratang, had married nearly three years ago, by going against her family.
Later police team of PS Baratang reportedly found that the reason behind this act was regular torture of her in-laws. A suicide note has also been found from the house it is leant. Sources said that the parents of the husband will probably be now arrested for abetment of Suicide by police. More details are awaited.
