Port Blair, Oct 23: Union Minister, Mr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Ministry of State for Road Transport & Highways, Shipping and Chemicals & Fertilizers along with Mr. Vishal Jolly, State President BJP, A&N Islands and Member of Home Ministry Advisory Committee have visited Chatham on Oct. 22, afternoon, to inspect the need of the Chatham-Boombooflat Bridge. They also visited Sippighat, to inspect the ongoing work of National Highway road. After inspecting the locations the minister said that, by end of this month the DPR tender of Chatham-Boombooflat Bridge will be open and by then the bridge work will be speedup and complete as soon as possible. He also said, the direction is given to Administration to complete road maintenance and repairing immediately.
