Port Blair, Oct 23: The Deputy Ranger, Forest Department, Mr Manjit Singh also popularly known as Snake Man of A & N Islands has again rescued a King Cobra snake from ITI residence colony, Dollygunj on 21st October 2018.
Despite being Sunday, Deputy Ranger Manjit Singh, on receiving a call, took up the task of rescuing the snake along with his team.
The snake is said to be about 12 feet in length and was 2.5 meter in width. The effort of the team to rescue the snake was highly appreciated by the residents of the colony. The snake will soon be released in a safe location.
