Port Blair, Aug 24: A Badminton championship was organized by Andaman & Nicobar Command at Coast Guard badminton court, Haddo from 20th to 24th of August 2018. The event saw an overwhelming participation by both the uniformed personnel, civilians and families of the Command.
The event was conducted in various categories that included Men’s Single & Doubles, Women’s Single, Mixed Doubles and a special category for personnel above 40 years of age. The final matches of all categories were played on 24th August 2018.
Major General Beji Mathews, Chief of Staff, Andaman & Nicobar Command graced the occasion as Chief Guest and presented the medals and certificates to the winners.
