Port Blair, July 17: A mega tree plantation drive was organised by 12 JAT Battalion at Military station Brichgunj under the aegis of Andaman Nicobar Command. The students of Army Public School joined hands with the soldiers and planted 1200 saplings. The students were educated on topics like the relevance of afforestation, importance of trees and segregation of waste &composting. Afterwards they pledged their commitment to conserve nature.
