Port Blair, June 27: A private electrician, namely Ebrahim, 35 years, R/o Tushnabad today fell from a ladder while working on an electric pole at Tushnabad area and sustained head injuries.
Injured Ebrahim was immediately shifted to Tushnabad Hospital from where he was referred to G B Pant Hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
Police has meanwhile registered a case against the owner of a private firm for which Ebrahim was working for Annual Maintenance of Electric Pole. Further investigations are on.
