Port Blair, June 20: Directorate of Information Publicity & Tourism, A&N Administration, Port Blair in association with Directorate of Film Festival, MoIB, Govt of India & Delegation of the European Union to India is organizing European Union Film Festival – 2018 from 01/07/2018 to 07/07/2018 at Port Blair. The event will be held at Andaman Club, Port Blair.
The European Union Film Festival is an annual event organized by Delegation of the European Union to India that conducts screening of selected European films across India, giving local audience a taste of Europe’s creativity and diversity. Films screened in the event are released recently and are being appreciated across the globe for their creative content. The films showcased in this festival represents Europe’s common culture heritage and this can serve as a platform for Indian community to know about European creativity and diversity.
The European Union Film Festival aims to encourage the promotion of film shooting and tourism via conducting screening of award winning films of European Union and other foreign countries to the children’s / student and general public in Islands of Andaman and Nicobar.
