Port Blair, June 18: The rally planned today against compulsory helmet rule for pillion riders was disrupted due to heavy rains however dozens of people, with banners, had already gathered at the starting point near Y Narayan Junction before rain.
The organizers have however maintained that the rally has been postponed till the weather condition improves and also that the rally would be organized again.
Meanwhile debate over compulsory helmet rule is trending among Andaman Social media groups while some people are against it, many are supporting the move saying such rule will ultimately save life of people.
