Port Blair, Apr 02: A local labour namely, Mr. Thiumugal died on 31st March after accidentally falling inside the Cargo Hold of a Malaysian cargo ship, which reached Port Blair with sand on 27 March 2018.
As per record on 31st March 2018 the offloading work of sand was in progress when the labourer while peeping inside the Cargo Hold, accidentally fell inside it and got trapped inside sand at around 12 noon.
The 37 year old labourer, Mr. Thiumugal was immediately shifted to GB Pant Hospital and by 4 p.m. he died in the hospital. Further details are awaited in this regard.
