Port Blair, Mar 08: Kala Kendra-A&N Islands’ Society for Promotion of Art & Culture is a Society under the Department of Art & Culture registered with the mandate to establish a Centre for the preservation & promotion of performing and visual arts and provide space for contemporary expression and innovation, initially in the field of Dance, Drama, Music and Visual Arts. Kala Kendra Society invites all islanders to participate in designing new logos for the Department of Art & Culture and Kala Kendra Society.
Only one entry for each logo shall be permitted per person/ organization. All entries should be submitted to kalakendraanispac@gmail.com by 20/03/2018. The entries submitted through any other mode will not be considered. The winning design of logo(s) would be the intellectual property of Kala Kendra Society. The logo design must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957. Participants should upload the Logo in JPEG/ JPG/ PNG/ SVG format only. The winner of the competition shall be required to submit the design in an editable and open file format. Logo should be designed in color. The size of the logo may vary from 5cm*5cm to 60cm*60cm in either portrait or landscape. The Logo should be in high resolution with minimum 300 DPI. All the entries received would be scrutinized for awards by a Selection Committee. Entries would be judged on the basis of elements of creativity, originality, composition, technical excellence, simplicity, artistic merit excellence, simplicity, artistic merit. Rs 10,000/- per logo will be awarded as Prize money for the winner(s).
