Port Blair, Mar 01: The Chief Secretary, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Mr Anindo Majumdar today launched a book namely “Security, Political, Autonomy and Development of Andaman & Nicobar Island” at the Conference Hall of the Secretariat at 10:00am.
The book is edited by Swapan Kumar Biswas, Manis Kumar Raha and Palash Chandra Coomar and is published and printed by Concept Publishing Company Private Limited. Foreword note of the book is written by Mr. Shakti Sinha, IAS (Retd.), Director, Nehru National Museum and Library, New Delhi.
The Book is dedicated to the Freedom Fighters who were treated inhumanly and tortured by the colonial rulers in Cellular Jail and also based on those who played a very important role in the development of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
