Port Blair, Feb 27: The Port Blair Municipal Council conducted a written examination for 33 posts of Lower Grade Clerk on 21/01/2018 The Type-Test on computer will be held at the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Andaman State Unit, GPOA Complex, Ranchi Basthi, Port Blair on 03rd & 04th March, 2018 i.e. Saturday & Sunday. The admission Certificate/Hall Tickets for the Type Test can be downloaded from the website www.and.nic.in. The Type-Test will be of qualifying in nature and its marks will not have any effect on the merit but those who fails to clear the Type-Test will be out of the recruitment process. The Candidates will get their result of the Type-Test at the end of the Test itself.
The candidates who qualify the Type-Test will be required to produce original documents for verification on 05th March, 2018 from 09:30 AM onwards at the premises of Municipal Council Head Quarter, Mohanpura, Port Blair as per schedule given below:

After verification of the original documents, if it is found that he/she is not eligible as per the notified Recruitment Rules and the Scheme of the recruitment exam, then his/her candidature will be rejected irrespective of his/her performance in the written examination and the Typing Test. The Offer of appointment will be issued to candidates equal to number of vacancies under each category. Remaining candidates in the category wise Final Merit List will be in the Panel for a period of one year.
