Port Blair, Feb 26: Dr. Subhash Ramarao Bhamre, the Raksha Rajya Mantri is on a three days visit to Andaman & Nicobar Command from 25 Feb 18 to 27 Feb 18.
On his maiden visit to the Command, he was familiarised with the operational capabilities and uniqueness of the first and only joint services Operational Command of the country.
During his visit, the Raksha Rajya Mantri interacted with the Lt Governor, Admiral DK Joshi (Retd) and Vice Admiral Bimal Verma, AVSM, ADC, Commander-in-Chief, Andaman and Nicobar Command. On 26 Feb 18, the RRM went on a wind shield tour of the operational areas of Andaman and Nicobar Command.
He also interacted with the troops at Port Blair during tea organised at HQ ANC.
