Port Blair, Feb 16: The Lt. Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Admiral D. K .Singh (Retd.) during his maiden Press Interaction today said that for the Chatham- Bambooflat bridge, there are no more road blocks.
Addressing media he said that earlier the project was in halt following confusion over the fact that how much should be the height of the bridge considering movement of Naval and Coast Guard ships, which has been now clarified. “This will be a unique arch shaped bridge. There are no more road blocks for the bridge,now” the Lt. Governor said.
A bridge between Chatham and Bambooflat is long awaited by people of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
