Neil Island, Feb 11: In a serious accident this morning at Neil Island, a speeding car reportedly hit an auto at Neil Kendra area, injuring the auto rickshaw driver badly.
According to reports after the accident the auto rickshaw driver Mr Sarabendu was immediately rushed to Neil Island’s Primary Health Centre from where he was immediately referred to GB Pant Hospital, Port Blair, because of his serious injuries.
As per reports, there were tourists inside the car, which was driven by Mr. Aakash and luckily all tourists are said to be safe. Further, investigations are being carried out in this regard.
