Port Blair, July 03: Channel-one-news, a 24 X 7 national level Hindi news channel was launched today at Port Blair. Mr. SBS Deol the Director General of Police today inaugurated the news channel logo at Port Blair.
Addressing the gathering Mr. Deol said that in Andaman we usually do not see such big news for National news channel but it’s a good news that private TV Channel will cover events of A & N Islands.
Addressing the gathering the Member of Parliament of A & N Islands, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray said that now a days media has become ‘Pet Media’. “They publish news only if they get money. I request this news channel not to follow the trend,” the MP said.
The President of Andaman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. G Bhasker said that media has vital role to play and withed all the very best to the news channel.
